1. Post a skill or service
Create your account in the app and describe what you can offer. Include the result you can deliver, photos where useful, your location, and whether the work happens in person or remotely.
Set a credit value for the offer. A clear scope helps someone decide whether your service meets their needs. The skill exchange guide has examples to help you choose an offer.
2. Find the help you need
Browse local offers or look for work that can be delivered remotely. Open a listing to read its description, see its photos, and check its credit value and delivery method.
A green Certification checked badge means the Quid Pro team has checked a submitted certification for that service. Ask questions about the work and any qualifications it needs before you proceed.
3. Agree on a trade
Use messages to discuss what each person will do. Agree on the deliverables, timing and credit value before accepting a proposal.
The proposal screen shows the work and credit balance in the trade. Read it before you send or accept it. If the scope is unclear, settle those details first.
4. Deliver and confirm the work
Complete the agreed work and confirm the handoff in the app. Quid Pro records the trade and credit entries so members can check what was exchanged.
If a problem comes up, discuss it with the other member. For help, contact support with the trade reference and a description of the issue. Do not include passwords or private information about other members.
What do Quid Pro credits mean?
Credits record the agreed value of work exchanged on Quid Pro. Your profile shows your credit balance and recent entries.
Credits currently have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Cashing out is in development. The app will ask members to accept updated terms before that feature starts.
